Principal's Message
When I was a student in the 1970’s, I was always excited about school. School was not only about learning to read, write and count. School was also about the laughter and shrieks of fear as my friends and I dodged the ball in ‘bola hentam’ and chased the bright coloured plastic ball to all corners of the school field. On Saturdays, I put on my Cadet Scout uniform and eagerly waited for Little Owl, our Akela, to gather the pack. Mr. Robert Lee aka Little Owl taught us many things beyond the classroom. He helped shape our characters as we grew. His care, passion and commitment were evident in the way he ran our scout group. He made sure that the activities were meaningful, purposeful and fun. School was a fun place to be. That is why one of the things that we want to do at Boon Lay Garden Primary School is to make the learning meaningful, purposeful and fun. We want our children to be excited about School. |
