(2) PACT At Bukit Timah Hill

A total 19 participants consisting of parents together with their children and 11 members of the school staff went to Bukit Timah Nature Reserve for a hike on 1 June 2013. The event is part of the Co-curricular programme to encourage parents to forge closer bonds with their children. It was a Saturday well spent as the participants scaled the heights of Bukit Timah Hill successfully! The next PACT programme will be held at the end of Term 3 and we look forward to your continued participation and support."

(4) Creative Writing Competition (National Level)
Our ML pupils took part in the National Level Creative Writing Competition organised by EDN-Media Pte.Ltd. A total of 537 pupils from 50 schools took part in the competition.
Our pupils took part and did the school proud with the following awards:

(5) Tamil Language Competition
Our pupils participated in the Tamil Language Competition which was jointly organised by W5 & W8 Cluster at Bukit Panjang Primary School. 9 schools participated in the event.
Our Pupils from P1-P6 participated in the TL Competitions and clinched prizes at all levels.

(6) Effloresco 2013 Annual Prize-Giving Day

The school celebrated Effloresco 2013 on 28 March. The GOH was Mrs Julia Woo, Cluster West 8 Superintendent. It was an unforgettable and memorable evening with colourful and lively performances that kept the audience on their seat. The real stars were no doubt the prize and award winners who were celebrated and honoured for their efforts and hard work.

(9) Assembly - Sand Art Performance

In conjunction with International Friendship Day, a sand art performance was showcased during Assembly period. Featuring different icons from different countries, BLGPS pupils and staffs watched in amazement and were simply captivated by the 'live' performance. More than that, BLGPS pupils learned about the importance of appreciating other cultures.

(10) ML Department Comprehension Workshop for Parents

The above workshop was held on 11 April for P5 & P6 parents. They were introduced to iQlues technique of answering comprehension questions. It was a fruitful and informative workshop with a Q-and-A session.
